Welcome to the 4th edition of how I became the emerging player of the year series.
So far int he last blogs we have covered the part of how, when, and what aroused my interest in the sport cricket. I would recommend the readers to please check the previous edition/part of series of emerging player of the year to get a better understanding of the whole story. I will add the the links of the previous blogs at bottom of this blog. So let's continue our story.
So last time I mentioned about the summer tournament and how I played my first match in the 4th game of the tournament and I have even mentioned the format of the tournament. So as I said that we had a good start of the tournament but due to certain reason I happened to play the 4th game of our team, so because it was summer tournament many players were struggling due to heat and humidity and because of that our one of the starting line-up fast bowler was worn out and so our coach and captain decided to put me in, in his place.

It was the life changing moment for me as it was my very first professional match against other team, players than my own club. And as I was new to the line up no other players from opponent teams knew about my playing style. They actually had just a rough idea of my playing style, no hard knowledge of my strengths, weaknesses, and average speed, length of my balls were known to any of them.
And because of that fact it was a great start of my career as I did an exceptional spell of 8 overs, giving just 26 runs, having 3 maiden over and taking 4 wickets in my very first game, 3 wicket haul in the first game gave me a good start and confidence to bowl my best in the upcoming games and batters from other teams showed sign of fear while facing our team especially me which again gave me self-confidence and motivated me.
