The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called to initiate a national and international campaign for the defense of the right to self-determination and sovereignty of Venezuela, in his opinion, the target of attacks sponsored by the United States government (USA), countries allies in America and the European Union.
"To the sectors that oppose us politically; I put the persecution, the financial blockade and the sanctions against Venezuela on the dialogue table. We must undertake a Great National and International Campaign for the right to freedom of our country, "said the head of state on Twitter.
After his victory in the elections of May 20, Maduro raised six lines of action for the period of government 2019-2025. The first is oriented towards dialogue, pacification and national reconciliation.
