The first thing is not to look at the advances of technology and the use of social networks with fear. All the unknown generates the reaction of wanting to move away, if it is new, we move away. However, I understand that as adults we have to do the opposite, you have to get into the subject.

I think any mother, parent or teacher should have Facebook to understand and know how it works. And as we talk about Facebook, we also talk about Twitter or any other social network. It is our responsibility as adults to learn from this language, which has other rules, which is different, to be able to help and orient the child and take advantage of these tools that, well used, are absolutely wonderful and, badly used, can be very Dangerous.

It is true, we are just writing the books on the subject and surely in the future will make many corrections to our thoughts today, but as adults we can try to imagine is that when the child enters the world of the Internet is entering a huge Plaza.

In that square there is everything, fantastic things and bad things, in between a whole gradation of situations. What is our duty as adults? is to be vigilant, attentive, let them do their experience, but with guidance and care.
