This is truly a monumental moment. This may be the first time in history that old, well publicized tricks are being re-used and the same people are falling for it. The true horror of it is that they are all being thrown at the same nominee in less than 2 weeks. We have a shred of civility left and unfortunately, it mostly comes down to democrats to save it. Not a good prognosis.
Imagine taking all the stereotypes of the senseless toads who were interrupting in protest during Judge Kavanaugh's hearing and putting them into one being. That thing would be called Christine Ford, the woman accusing the Judge of Sexual Misconduct 35 years ago when they were teens. It would be laughable if it hadn't actually worked. The media jumped on it immediately, "believing" her story that nobody but Feinstein knows anything about. Of course, the sheep followed. The ever faithful sheep who, no matter how many times their masters are caught lying to them, continue to believe the next hoax without burning a calorie in thought.
Anyone who takes a second to put all the pieces together may see something encompassing the far left. What we have here is a College Professor from California. Just let that sink for a second...but that's not it. She's also a Trump protester who has attended at least one protest march against the President. Mrs. Ford's story is 35 years old and, according to what I've heard over the past few days, she didn't know who the person was who "groped" her on that fateful night in a bedroom at the high school kegger. Though the stories change drastically from one "news" outlet to the next, it appears that her memory was jogged once Trump, her arch nemesis, announced his supreme court pick.
Roughly three weeks ago, Feinstein was then sent a letter outlining the allegations. A letter that she held on to throughout the hearing and finally dropped on the world once the other tricks failed. Now, why did she hold the letter so long without saying anything? According to her, it was to keep the writer confidential. Then why did it ever get out at all? Einstein couldn't come up an equation that adds up for that. (Wow, drop the "F" in Feinstein and you get Einstein). There is not a shred of truth in it and the real story is probably more like an effort to stave off the confirmation until after the mid-terms.
The evidence for delay being the end game seems to grow with each piece of information released. Ford, doesn't want to testify until after there has been an FBI investigation. Well, if you are telling the truth and feel confident in your story then what does it matter? She only wants to testify after Kavanaugh has testified. So, you are the one with the accusations and you want him to answer to them before he knows what they are? Seems like they want to throw a pinch of perjury trap into the mix. Normally, the way these things would go is an accuser would tell their story, the authorities would investigate and then the accused would be questioned. In what world would the accused issue a rebuttal prior to knowing the accusations?
The Ever Present Double Standard
It is appalling to me the lack of any shame in Hillary Clinton. When I watched her speak out on Thursday regarding how we should treat this accuser I was awe struck. How on earth can she think that she has a moral leg to stand on with her record on the treatment of victims?
During Hillary's failed 2008 presidential campaign she had a campaign adviser named Burns Strider. Mr. Strider was accused by a junior adviser to the campaign of unwanted touching, kissing and sexually inappropriate emails. So, the evidence was actually there with respect to the emails. Crooked Hillary refused to even fire Strider. What she did was dock him a few weeks pay, send him to counseling but made sure he kept his job. The accuser was assigned to a new job. Instead of helping the victim, she helped the perpetrator. Source
Keith Ellison, a democrat and the former Minnesota congressman turned state Attorney General Candidate was recently accused of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend, Karen Monahan. It started with her son outing the incident on Twitter tweeting that he saw threatening text messages from Ellison to his mother and even mentioning that there is a video. Ms. Monahan confirmed the allegation a day later and posted a doctors letter Showing that she had mentioned the abuse during an examination.
My main point with these two incidents (I could type for days about others) is the double standard. Hillary's disregard for the proven inappropriate behavior of her strategist illustrates her attitude towards this type of crime (not to mention the countless allegations against her husband). Ellison's story shows that democrats in general don't care about allegations against their elected officials. Every democrat thinks that an allegation of a 35 year old incident with zero proof and a story riddled with holes merits an investigation of the highest degree but an allegation from one year prior with a little bit of evidence should be dismissed. Keep in mind that Ellison is running for Minnesota state Attorney General.
Witnesses
From what's been reported on this so far, there was one person who corroborated Ford's story and she subsequently retracted her account. At the same time there have countless friends and colleagues attesting to Kavanaugh's good nature. There have been plenty of the Judge's friends from high school denying that this ever happened. Further, other's from the high school have been outspoken about Ford's promiscuity during those years.
If you were to score this like the game that it is we would be seeing team Kavanaugh slaughtering the swamp in an absolutely beautiful display of power in truth. The problem is that the allegation is out there and the second that letter was sent to Feinstein the smear campaign worked. The consequence is, as with all rumors, that it will be a thought on everyone's mind when the name Brett Kavanaugh comes up. That is a true shame.
At the end of the day this is pretty much the least credible story I've ever heard and it would be pretty incredible if it could be proven or dis-proven.
