This guy Scott Pappalardo that fakenews media is talking about and saying how he's such a wonderful man for cutting up his AR-15 after the Florida Shooting just committed a felony on camera.
Federal regulations require a barrel length of 16 inches or more on all rifles or they are considering short barreled rifles (SBRs) that are illegal to own unless you have the proper tax stamp/paperwork.
This moron still had a fully functional gun when he cut the barrel off of it and made it a SBR and probably committed multiple felonies by doing so. If he was smart he would of cut through the receiver first that would of deemed it not a firearm anymore and then you can do whatever you want with it but because the upper was still attached to a full length stock lower it became an SBR. The second he cut that barrel off with the lower still attached it became a felony.
It's a dumb law but the FBI and ATF have convicted people of lesser gun violations.
