There comes a time in the life of an eagle (you) when its somewhat slower in the flight (pursuit of purpose). Indeed the wing feather (Capacity) begins to give off a telltale whistle as the dives its prey (goals).
Often the whistle of the wings is enough to warn a rabbit or fish and its able to dodge the attack. Besides problems with its feathers the eagle may also finds its talons are blunt and calcification have formed on its beak. Seemingly the king of the sky is ready for the old folks home (retreat).
That moment when you feel your are not given the best result anymore, you need to understand that all you need is a retreat.
High in the mountain the eagle proceeds to go through remarkable process of rejuvenation. Firstly its starts to pluck at some of its wing feathers. One by one the faulty feathers are cast off.
One report had it that a particular specie of eagle strips itself completely bald and awaiting some forty days for a compete regrowth of feathers.
Next the bird may seek out a cool refreshing mountain stream to wash itself. Eagle are very clean birds in their natural state. The icy waters remove the taint and stain of death, the Lice and parasites, the old and dull feathers, the muck and filth of the world. Fresh, clean and naked, the eagle stands before the sun.
We too may experience times in our lives when we are dry, stale, depressed, weak, or defeated. The world has dealt us a bitter blow, ruffled our feathers so to speak. We may have lost our confidence, had our dream explode in our face.
HONING BY THE ROCK
The beak is an all important weapon and must be kept lethally sharp. Like a soldier preparing his sword for battle the calcification are painstakingly ground away by the slow but steady action of the beak against the rock.
Relentlessly the beak and talons are methodically honed back and lethal sharpness, ready for the world.
Soon we too like eagle are transformed. The defeated negative patterns, idea and thoughts are removed
Eventually after many days of preening, plucking, honing, grinding and washing, the eagle is ready to return to the outside world.
He spreads his huge wings and alights from the mountain peaks a new bird.
Its youth has been renewed Again it is a powerful, dangerous bird to contend with.
A bird with new life, new strength and new joy for living.
