A pleasant afternoon, Hive community! Here are some bits of my story, welcome to my intro blog!

First of all, I am Alexander Quiñones and I am 21 years old. I'm an incoming second year college student taking a Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education Major in Home Economics at Cebu Normal University— it's a state-funded higher education institution in the Philippines. As a student, the things that I'm passionate about right now are my grades, responsibilities as an organization officer, and exploring things that I'm unaware of myself.

You might be wondering who this new face is here. Hi! My name is Aleyssa Quiñones, and you can call me "Lysa, Leys" or whatever you're comfortable with. I am brainy and a bit silly at the same time, haha. I'm 23 years young, and I guess I look younger than my age, especially because of my height. I am a third-year student majoring in Hospitality Management at Cebu Technological University-Danao Campus. Actually, this is not my first choice; it was either accounting or business management, but the campus doesn't offer these courses, so I chose BSHM instead.

I wanted to show a little bit of my life, since I would like you to know me a little more; I love taking selfies I love photos 🤳🏻😍🥰 I consider myself a very spoiled aunt I have a niece and a nephew that I love too much, I have unconditional parents are my pillars thanks to them I have moved forward I have been focused and disciplined in life, I managed to graduate from college with a degree in administration 🙏🏻👩🏻‍🎓👩🏻‍💻 currently I am an entrepreneur I make cakes and desserts for all kinds of events 🎂🎂🎉🥂🎉🥂.

With this presentation I want to start this path that has cost me to travel, I want to make myself known, gain confidence and security as well as many started in this community, I also want to take the risk.

I grew up with words stuck in my chest. Around my fourth birthday, I was unable to pronounce even a monosyllable. Back then, everyone viewed me with a kind of compassion. To them, I was a poor, voiceless girl. I remember the look of pity that came over people's faces when they saw me so silent.

My neighbor, a coarse woman who believed in me, repeated many rude things every afternoon hoping I would imitate her, because according to her, bad things are learned faster. The woman would fire off the crudest phrases in bursts, and I would catch them. One day, I said my first vulgarity, which was celebrated by everyone as if I had just given a speech at the UN General Assembly.

My hobbies, I love adventures, it has its own way of easing my stress in spite of how tough it may seem, I love music, wow this is one of my favorite thing, I could do it all day and not get tired honestly unfortunately I am yet to learn any of the instruments am intrigued to, due to financial constraint but I hope to do that and I promise to take you along the journey when it begins. I love singing and also writing. It’s has a way of relieving me and pouring out my mind. Without anyone having to judge or fight me for airing my voice. I am not photogenic too, but I try once a while.

These words accurately describe how both I and those closest to me perceive my character. Despite the qualities they see in me, what they don't know is that I am someone who has overcome significant life trials, yet I continue to fight and engage with them with a smile.

Hello, I'm Maríaguerra7, and this is my introduction - Hive My name is María Guerra. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela's capital. A few years later, my parents brought me to Cumaná, a city I fell in love with for its historical sites, gastronomy, beautiful landscapes like its beaches, rivers, and mountains. Places and sites that invite you to spend a different, pleasant, and enjoyable day. I began my studies in this city, attending beautiful schools and high schools, from which I have countless fond memories. I had the good fortune to graduate from the highest university, the Universidad de Oriente (UDO), with a degree in Bioanalysis. I proudly serve this beautiful city and beloved country... VENEZUELA, giving my best every day.Since I was very young, I have been passionate about innovating and learning about different things. I am very proactive and multifaceted, which is why I have taken many courses, both in the near and personal, which has allowed me to continue moving forward and meet many people. Hi, I'm @Salmeron94, a painter and draftsman from Cumaná, a city of Venezuela, beaches and a fierce sun; I'm a young man of 30 years who has been dedicated to art since I was a child, I chose this path for several reasons, but the most important of the reasons is for the passion I have for this profession.

I am a creative and impressionistic plastic artist with colours and I am also a free muralist, I work as an artist when it comes to design format I work with grids at any scale of design. I am bachelor and I am studying the career of plastic arts metion painting at the university Uneartes of Sucre state, I am 28 years old and I have won a prize in Margarita to the rookie of the year in 2021 with a painting called genesis.

Why do I say that this "need" emerged in me? Because in my life, I have suffered many things for which even to this day I try to convince myself were not my fault. Just as there is my case, there are thousands of other cases in the world where children have suffered double or even triple what I went through. Unfortunately, abandonment is quite common and normalized in various social groups today. My dream is and will always be to help children who are in that situation, to provide support, understand them, and encourage them to be a better version of themselves every day...
