My name is Sunday Ruth Zugwai, also known as srzpeculiar. I am 28 years old and currently a student at the University of Abuja. I’m originally from Kaduna State, but my family is based in Nasarawa State. I’ve spent most of my life with my parents, siblings, relatives, and friends. Life hasn’t always been easy, but I’m grateful for every challenge it has only made me stronger. I hold an N.C.E. in Business Education and am currently pursuing a degree in Educational Management. I initially started studying Accounting at Kaduna State University, a course I’ve always been passionate about, but had to drop out in my second year due to financial constraints. While waiting for a way forward, I started a small business selling hot bean cake (akara), kunu geda, moimoi, and fried potatoes, and also ventured into small-scale farm product storage.

Before anything else I started when I was a child, I dreamed of becoming a somebody someday that I have my own family in life and when I'm in elementary days I'm the most active student in class then in my high school days too,but I was under graduate in college because I'm married early at the age of 19 years old.

Apart from writing or managing social media, I'm also an activist who is passionate about positive growth. I motivate youngsters to be better future leaders of tomorrow. I am an advocate for the right of the girl child in my society, and i go the extra mile within available means to reachout to help in my little ways, and inculcate productivity and a healthy self esteem in children by letting them recognise their worth and knowing that being a woman/girl is never a disadvantage in the society despite being a feminine gender.

I'm a recent graduate of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) with a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology ( still in the process tho)My journey through university wasn't a fast one, I stayed at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic and that lasted for about a year and as if that wasn't enough the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) decided to do their own they went on strike for about 8 months, a year and 8 months of staying at home that sums up to like two academic sessions but then I thank God for the journey

I’m really excited to be making my first post here. I’m new to the platform, but I’ve been hearing great things about Hive how it gives people a space to share their stories, connect with others, and actually get rewarded for being themselves.

Around that age, I fell for books entomology, paleontology, any tale where animals were heroes. As a teen, I scavenged magazines for archaeology, flora, fauna. Then, inexplicably, UFOs and ghosts seduced me. Later, mythology tiptoed inGreek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, it didn’t matter; I adored them all.Adventure novels enchanted me as much as crime stories. I’d spend vacation afternoons reading on a mattress by the porch door, then continue the journey under my bedroom lamp. By eighteen, I knew: I wanted to be a biologist. But then came the cero hours the dreams was broken.

I discovered this sport at the age of 15 because I saw some people doing dynamic exercises on the bars and I became a little interested in learning more about the sport and also because I wanted to change physically. Later I made friends with some and started training with them and interacting more with the dynamic exercises and a little with the static exercises. In the end, I couldn't get a suitable physique because I stopped training in mid-2019 and got caught up in other things. I returned to the sport on February 25th thanks to a great friend and coach who has motivated me a lot both physically and mentally @josef-999, thanks to him I have been very motivated to be a great athlete and to have good disciplin

When I was seven or maybe eight and could finally tell people what I wanted to be, I often replied with silence because I never wanted to be anything. I didn’t want to do anything, except I always knew I was meant for great things. Now that I’m older, I’m starting to question those great things because I’m still stuck at 20. While others have got life figured out, I’m here writing my thoughts because it’s the only thing I can do at the moment.

It wasn’t a life of luxury — but it was a life of warmth, values, and grace. My grandparents raised me with patience, prayer, and all the love they had.
They weren’t just my guardians.
They were, and still are, my home.
