Hello everyone!
My name is Aicar, I'm 30 years old and a Government Employee in the City of Bogo. I am thrilled to embark on this blogging journey where I get to share snippets of my life, thoughts, and passions with you.
Who Am I?
Hmm.. Let me share a little background story of my life. Did you know where my name derived from? Well, here's the story..
My mother's name is Aida and my father's name is "Cardo" for short since my father's real name is Ricardo. And boom! That's where my name was born haha "Aicar". I have also one older sister.
As far as I can remember, my parents did not have the chance to finish at least high school, but still they strived hard to provide for and support our daily needs. Even though we are not that rich, I can always say that I have the best family who is very supportive and a good provider of our needs. Sadly, my father died because of smoking. I was thirteen years old at the time and still studying in my first year of high school. Despite what happened, my mother is always there to support us. To make a long story short, here I am: finally, we have a degree holder in our family. While writing this, I felt emotional and amazed at how we surpassed those challenging times back then.
Seeing these pictures makes me realize that there is nothing wrong in pursuing your dreams. Combined with perseverance and the courage to achieve your goal, the word impossible will be "possible". Whatever what you wanted to be, if you work for it and always trust the timing of the Lord ☝️.
I can always picture out how my mother works hard by selling candles at the church. Selling candles at the church is the main source of income of my mother. During weekends, my sister and I will help my mother to sell candles especially during fiesta.
My older sister finished highschool but did not continue go to college because she got married early. And now, since I am the last back up of the family,I really wanted to finish my studies in college. Looking back,I can see through my mother's eyes that she was so happy of my achievement, that finally I finished my studies and that everything is worth the risk.
Basing on my personality, I am friendly and outgoing person that likes to explore new places, and very open to socializing other people.Whenever i got the chance to explore new places i am very excited to meet new people. And if you get to know me well I am so talkative and fun to be with. I think that is all I can remember as of the moment, maybe in the future blogs another personality will be unlocked let us see haha.
In my educational background.
I graduated last March 2014 with the course of Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in Social Studies. After graduating, I have experienced different types of jobs from being a cashier, volunteer and project staff of the Philippine Red Cross for 5 years that taught me on how to talk in front of many people since we always do trainings and seminars in different schools and in the barangays, ESL Teacher and now a government employee in the City of Bogo. These experiences molds me to become friendly, jolly and an outgoing person.
I passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers last March 2022, after 4th times of failing to take the LET, finally, God answered my prayers. There is so much happiness I felt during this time, until now I am still in cloud nine.
I already have a family and I am a mother of 6-year-old son. I am not yet married due to personal reasons, but maybe soon hehe.
Beyond my professional life, I also enjoyed being a mother of my autistic son which keeps me motivated to do my job every day.
Why Am I Here?
Now, why am I here? This happened during our college reunion my friend from college introduced me to writing blogs (hi maam @jobeliever) at first I felt hesitant because I am not that very good at writing and organizing my thoughts. But I have this attitude that if you are willing to learn and take the risk everything will follow. Special thanks to maam @jobeliever for letting me join on hive.
I’ve always been fascinated by how these people express their thoughts and experiences through their blogs. So i thought to myself to try something new which is blogging! Now, this blog is my platform that contains whether it's sharing insights from my career, life realization, or simply sharing how my days went and learnings that I have encountered throughout the day. I hope to create content, especially on awareness or information that can inspire other moms with an ASD child. And learn from other moms who have the same situation as me. I would be very happy to hear your suggestions if possible.
My hobbies are reading, listening to music especially Cebuano and Tagalog rap songs as it always lightens my mood especially when doing household chores haha, taking walks to explore new places and also taking pictures of beautiful sceneries. And now doing blogs will be a part of my hobbies too! I am so excited to learn from you guys!
What Can You Expect?
On this blog, you can expect a mix of personal stories, adventures, and anything that amuses me. And some activities that engaged my son's journey on the spectrum, going on countless therapies, and how it changed my perspectives in life.
Let's Connect!
I can't wait to start my blogging journey! My expectation in Hive is to make more friends, strengthen my relationships with them, and get more knowledge especially in doing blogs.
Through it all, as my contribution in Hive I hope to offer relatable stories with valuable moral lessons and practical advice through sharing my experiences from my daily life and making this blog to be as enriching for you as it is for me.
Your feedback and thoughts are incredibly valuable to me as I continue to grow and evolve this blog.

Aicar :)
