Hello everyone from the Philippines here! Have a great day ahead of us. Before I’ll introduce myself to all of you here first I would like to give thanks and praises to our Almighty Father for taking me to this great opportunity with Mam @dehai as my coach/mentor to Hive. Thank you Ma'am @dehai for the patience, time, and effort that you have extended towards me. This is my introduction to Hive and looking forward to making friends with everyone.
Who Am I
I am Villa Fe, 40 years old, married with 4 children. I am a God servant, family family-oriented woman, and a professional teacher. My everyday routine goes like this. I woke up early at 4:30 a.m. to prepare our breakfast. Wake up my schoolchildren and teach them to prepare themselves to get ready for school.
Before going to school, I hugged and kissed my 4-month-old baby girl and said goodbye to them with her father Ranel, my husband.
In school, I am teaching 33 grade 2 learners aged 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 years old. Teaching these young minds is quite difficult yet challenging. But with the prayers, courage, passion, and determination I was able to deal with them with so much joy in my heart. I have in teaching for almost 16 years now. Being a teacher is not easy. Our job is not just to teach but rather as a second parent of my pupils. It is our task to monitor and guard them in school. Whenever they get sick, the teacher will give them the first aid they need also.
After teaching for 8 hours every day, I’ll be heading home with my 2 children riding at my back with a motorcycle. The moment we arrive home; my husband and my baby are waiting for us. Both of them, I saw happiness on their faces. And that’s why I love my family so much. And I’ll do everything for them until my last breath. And of course, I will stand always to my God who is my source of everything,” My God of impossible things”. I do believe in God’s word when Apostle Paul declares in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. After we had our dinner, at exactly 7:30 p.m. every night, I attended our Women Prayer Warrior’s Meeting in our church, “Almighty God Baptist Church”. In there, we sing, read, and share God’s word and pray until 8:30 p.m.
Every Sunday, my family are gathered in the church to worship God.
My first-born son Rhannie Vhil, plays the guitar together with his cousins.
I also lead praise and worship songs every second Sunday of the month. Our weekend is not complete if we fail to go to church every Sunday because we believe that we do it because of love. Thinking that going to church is an obligation is different from meeting God in church because of love. Just like in a human relationship, if we agree to meet our partner in a certain place, we do it because we want to show our love to that particular person. Likewise, my family does the same.
Please take note, my friends, if you happen to read my story here, I am not speaking for myself only but as a family.
So, please be with me, just like my husband Ranel, it is our family practice that I and him will go together even to the nearest places like markets and malls. The moment I ask my husband if he can go to the market, he'll always reply "Kuyog lang ta ninyo Ma!" In English "Please go with me and the kids". Going together with the family has had a big impact on our relationship. It strengthened our love and kept us intact in a family circle. My husband and I always check on our son the moment he arrives home late from school.
By the way, my husband is the one taking care of our four children. We don't have any yayas or helpers because, in the first place, we could not afford to have them. Life is quite difficult if only one is working in the family but still thankful and blessed to have a husband like Ranel. He still provides us by raising hogs or pigs in our backyard. During weekends, I help my husband with deworming and giving vitamins through injections.
We, work together, go together, laugh together, and LIVE with God's divine intervention. This everyday journey of mine is tiring, especially in the beginning, but as a Filipino mother I am enjoying my life as a family breadwinner and I declare that I am happy with the family that God has given me. I hope that my introduction and my future blog can inspire many people and I can gain friends too. Prayers and hugs to this group. God bless us all!
