- Friday. After reading yaasindan tahlil in KH Cholil Bisri family grave with one of his son-in-law, Ning Diyah Kholil, I sat in the balcony of Raudhatut Thalibien, Leteh, Rembang pesantren. As usual, every once a week, KH Musthofa Bisri or familiarly called Gus Mus held a recital of interpretation of the Book of Al Ibriz for the general public in the cottage hall located east of the main house building.
Book of Al-Ibriz is a book of exegesis of Al-Qur'an 30 juz essay of his Abah, namely KH Bisri Musthofa. The book is written in Javanese through the Arabic pegon, but the Indonesian language version has been widely circulated in the national bookstores.
Jamaahs come from all corners of Rembang, Pati, Blora and even Semarang. Most of them work as farmers, fishermen and small traders. They wore clothes that were so earthy little coastal communities.
