En este punto, debo confesarte que hace algunos años estuve en HIVE, en un equipo (dos años exactamente). Luego de eso, sucedieron muchas cosas importantes en mi vida, que me imposibilitaron continuar.

Para entonces, yo vivía en Cuba. Después de un largo período de trámites y dificultades, se me dio por fin la oportunidad de poder emigrar (quien sea cubano sabe lo complicado que resulta lograr esto) dejando atrás gran parte de lo que era importante para mí. A partir de este momento, en que salí de mi país, las cosas no salieron del todo como quería. Fue un camino lleno de grandes dificultades por el que me tocó transitar, con altibajos y sorpresas; por fin, terminé viviendo donde menos lo había planificado, pero en el país que me abrió sus puertas y me acogió. No entraré en detalles por ahora, esto lo dejo para otra ocasión.
By then, I was living in Cuba. After a long period of paperwork and
difficulties, I was finally given the opportunity to emigrate (anyone who is Cuban knows how complicated this can be), leaving behind much of what was important to me. From that moment on, when I left my country, things didn't go quite as I had hoped. It was a path full of great difficulties that I had to navigate, with ups and downs and surprises; finally, I ended up living where I had least planned, but in the country that opened its doors to me and welcomed me. Hace más de un año que vivo en España, y por fin siento que las cosas van tomando su curso, y el tiempo para pensar me ha hecho preguntarme: ¿por qué no regresar a HIVE?, este lugar que me aportó tanto, y no me refiero precisamente a lo material, sino al aprendizaje, las experiencias y lo enriquecedor que fue.
I've been living in Spain for over a year, and I finally feel like things are taking their course. Having time to reflect has made me wonder: why not return to HIVE? This place that gave me so much, and I'm not referring to material things, but rather to the learning experience, the experiences, and how enriching it was.
