Wanted to introduce myself to the steemit community with a video and a little bit about HOP farm.
At HOP Farm (Honest Open Permaculture), we are a small local homestead that is continuously working to become as self-sustainable as we can through permaculture practices and principles. What does that mean you ask? Permaculture is a system of agricultural and social design principles centered around simulating or directly utilizing the patterns and features observed in natural ecosystems. To us that means we intend to produce our own meat, vegetables, fruit, water, energy and income on our almost 11 acres of paradise.
We are excited to share with the steemit community what we have learned, what we are currently learning and very excited about what the steemit community will teach us.
