From a galaxy far away ... That's how I got here.
Hello, everyone in this community as in any field when something new is undertaken is always required or rather necessary to present and so I have decided to do so today. My name is Daniel Manzano and I am a researcher. My field is the theory of quantum information and computation and I recently got my doctorate at the University of Granada.

I recently started a new stage at the University of Innsbruck (Austria) where I develop as a researcher and I also teach some classes. I am married and I have a 3-year-old son whom I love with madness (as well as my wife), and I am an inveterate fan of good reading and information, I can spend hours sitting in front of the computer reading scientific articles, stories and even conspiracy theories (I admit I love conspiracy theories)
I also like to write, in fact as I told you a few paragraphs ago before I came to steemit I used to write in a blog, where I shared from my research to areas of my personal life.
I have to tell you that in addition to being a researcher I also have other acquired tastes such as mountaineering and science fiction. I love Star Wars could spend hours talking and arguing about it.
I came to steemit on the recommendation of a colleague with whom I have been talking for a long time about launching myself into the world of scientific dissemination, so he recommended that I try to calm down my doubts about whether to do it or not to try writing those articles here at steemit. More specifically, he told me about the #steemstem project that basically seeks to support and encourage the growth of scientific communities in the world. And that immediately amazed me... And well here I am.
From the fact of wanting to experiment (and who knows if to go further) before launching me formally to the world of scientific divulgation, the reason why in this blog I will treat scientific topics that attract me a lot. More specifically issues related to:
Physics.
I would like to cover as much as possible of the fascinating world of physics and go deeper into quantum physics in particular. Much has been written about quantum physics, but nevertheless, it remains a very closed field for dissemination. In this sense, I will try to make posts as informative as possible.
General Science.
My goal in this section is to discuss basic issues of the functioning of science and scientists, to see that it is something every day and has nothing incomprehensible. Encompassing everything from the simplest to the most complex.
Well, that was everything. I hope to have enough time to post with some frequency, but my main objective is not to publish en masse but to try to bring them post with the best possible quality. Of course, I leave the motivation open, in case I decide to write about anything else that comes to mind, leaving open the possibility of discussing the philosophy of science, computer science and other areas that interest me.
