Hello steemians! I have been on steemit now for a couple of weeks and I have to say I love it. I tried blogging with wordpress and this is better, by far. I recently just hit about 30 followers and figured now would be as good a time as any to introduce myself. So a few things about me.
My name is Chris Mitchell Jr. I just got married a couple of months ago to the most wonderful girl in the world (her name is Kaitlyn). She is my rock. I cannot even imagine what my life would be like without her, nor do I want to imagine such a horrible fantasy.
Speaking of fantasy, I like to write short fiction and that is mostly what I joined steemit to do, to write and get constructive feedback. I enjoy writing horror fiction and suspense but have recently tried my hand at fantasy. I have posted a couple of stories already. You can check them out on my page or not, either way is fine with me, but if you do, I ask to please leave a comment and tell me what you think. I play guitar (acoustic most of the time) and try to sing (and mostly fail). My wife says I am good, I don’t really think so but I plan to post a couple of videos of me playing at some point in the future so you can be the judge when that time comes. My wife and I have two cats, Sophie
and Punk.
They are little brats most of the time but we love them. I took culinary arts and service management at Paul Smiths College and, currently, have a full-time job as a sauté chef at a small restaurant in upstate New York called Maxfields. I have worked there for about 5 years but hope to one day quit my job to work as a full-time writer. I love to cook but who wouldn’t love to work from home, right? Well, that’s my life at the moment and I am very excited to be a part of the steemit community. I hope you all enjoyed this post and hope you come back for more.
