So I forgot to post an introduction post, due to being a bit busy posting up a bunch of content and working out some of the backend stuff for the Fried Phish Project.
So I am balor, a security researcher/developer, currently based somewhere in Europe. I spend a good amount of my time travelling, cooking and taking photos of things when I am not hunting scammers and phishers on the internet to try make the internet a safer place.
I've been around the edges of the cryptocurrency scene since Bitcoin was worth bugger all (compared to now) back in 2010, and have been quite excited to see all the interesting developments in the space. It is also, however, a space that is incredibly exposed to scammers and phishers, so there is plenty for me to do here, trying to keep it all cleaned up.
While the majority of the content I'm currently posting is to do with the anti-phishing initiative I'm working on (Fried Phish), I'll also probably be using this account for personal stuff, notes on software development, computer security, and suchlike over the coming months.
This is usually the bit where people post a photo or whatever, but instead I'm going to leave you with a photo I took of a sheep made from telephone cables/a telephone that I took while visiting the Museum of Communications in Frankfurt. It also happens to be the avatar used on the Fried Phish twitter.
