Since I have invited a couple of RL friends... I wanted to write this to point them in the right direction to get started with some encouragement on their journey.

You want to read up on the welcome tab, and that will give you a good understanding of what steem it is, how to be successful & some nice tips on getting there.
Keep moving through it.... and of you have questions ask them! It's the best way to learn.
The welcome section really has incredible info and often overlooked. So to take the time to sift through there!
Now introduce yourself to the community. Take a fun selfie holding your screen name & today's date, showing authenticity to. Search the hashtag #introduceyourself under trending tab to see the most liked recent introductions for some inspiration!
People really like that.
Tell the community what you might write about or some hobbies you enjoy.
The first tag you will want to use is #introduceyourself followed by your personal interests.
Scroll thru the hashtags to find some of your interests. Use all 5 tags on your post for maximum search ability.
In the meantime; Spend some time reading others content, comment on things you read. Follow people you find interesting & enjoy.
