I wanted to change my username, until I realised I couldn’t. So here I am stuck with my real name. And what better place to start than from unapologetic authenticity.
Which is the theme of what this account will present to you. My intention for you, dear readers and beautiful Steemit community, is to present you unedited, raw forms of free writing. As a writer with many years freelancing, corporating and dilly dallying in my journal, I know how gripping perfection can be of the creativity channel. Clogging the airways of the muse as you abuse your work, doubt yourself, edit, re-edit and edit some more until the original essence and divine inspiration has been strangled out.
Hmmm as I was writing this I was trying to consciously paint a less gruesome and dramatic picture, but this is what came out.
Which leads me delightfully into my promised intention for you. All work that is published on my account will be in its true, straight from the horses’s mouth, unedited (except for the occasional misspelling from over eager keypad tapping finger tips) form.
My words will flow, my mind may wander but rest assured, every word you read was the original word written and none have been rethought and replaced.
I planned to read all the welcome material before I got stuck in, but I just love writing so much and the ideas were coming so I decided to dive straight in. I hope you are eager to embark on this authentic journey with me and perhaps receive inspiration to revel in the perfect imperfection of your own creations.
We’re all human (well hang on, maybe some of you reading this are from different realms and that’s ok too), no matter your planet of origin, we are all here to deliberately create. And this account and all the joy that is to follow and be shared with all of you - is my deliberate creation.
I write about life and everything I have come to understand about it. I write purely from my unapologetic authentic point of view. Take what you want, leave the rest and accept always only the best. Yes I really wanted that to rhyme. I do do this from time to time. Ok I’ll stop there.
Welcome to my account. I am so happy you are here.
Much love and then some.
Camilla
