My good friend Sabin Is a volunteer at the Ashland Shakespeare Festival in our home town. His job is to answer questions that the public has. One day he told me a very angry woman approached him and asked, "so you are answering questions huh? Well, what is the meaning of life?" Without hesitation my friend told her, very compassionately, "TO HELP EACH OTHER". When he told her this he said her anger left her and she started to cry and said yes, thank you.
I love this story because the meaning of life is to help each other and that is EXACTLY WHAT STEEMIT IS ALL ABOUT. I am still very new and really am still a bit confused but one thing I know after being on STEEMIT is that it supports the meaning of life. The fact that we can help someone in Africa dig a well or feed someone for a week in Venezuela is truly a noble and beautiful thing! I am very grateful to be here and to be a very, very, very small part of such a beautiful thing, THANK YOU!
