Five days after his kidnapping, his father heard him, a corpse of a young man was lying on the cemetery near the Malakh Hospital in Keraniganj. Then he went there and found that the body was his son. Earlier on 2 September, Roni's father filed a case of abduction by local drug businessman, seven people, including drug vendors. One of them is accused Rubel. The other accused are Hazrat, Chattki Babul, Sagar, Dipu, Baku and Naeem.
