Hi, this is my first post and introduction in steemit. Do you know how i started steemit. Before starting the explanation about it, let me tell you about myself. Basically i am from Himachal (North state of the India). I am living in icy area in mountain. I always love skating over morning ice. Now let me tell you who suggest me the Steemit and wat i think about steemit. As usual in morning time, i was skating in last Monday. But that day, was special for me. I met a person named as Tony Turner he was Ethereum specialist and working for a Japanese company. Usually in our area several people all around world visit here for enjoy. That person and his Lady had 3 days camp on that location. When i met him first time it was coincidence that he was very much helpful for me. His skateboard was damaged and when i met him ,i asked him about his broken skateboard that cant be fixed. Then i gave mine to him and tell that whenever you want to return me... thats your choice.
We both enjoyed these three days. At the evening time he was writing a blog in esteem app then i just asked him about it as usual. When he told me about everything about it... seriously guys.. at same time i decided to quit the other social network platforms.
As i know right now about steemit, it is also a social network that looks and functions a lot like Reddit, but the difference is about its structure and its system. It pays both the content creators when their work gets upvoted, as well as the people who curate the best content on the site by upvoting others work. So i've tried hand on it. He also told me that the registration in steemit could take 2 to 7 days. Usually after alarm i am always in half sleeping for half hour. But in this morning time i heard the mail notification about steemit...i fully feels fresh and active on that moment. After login my account in steemit i saw there were there different kind of currencies. then i found all about it in steemit website that Steem currency was specially used for currency trading system or you can say bought and sold for actual money on the open markets. The other currency in steemit was Steem Power in short SP.
As i remembered my friend (Tony Turner) told me that you must hold the steem power value because you will be able to make considerably more money in the long run because you essentially have ownership in the network. He also suggest me to choose always 50/50 option because 50% of the pay you receive for your content will be in Steem Power Units. Then the final currency system was Steem Dollars. As i read in steemit website it the mainly currency that i can payout after exchange.
