Hola! It is me, C . I am Chloe without the letter H but with the letters U and I. My name is quite complicated, to begin with. If you can spell it out correctly then wow, you’re awesome! A lot of people misspell my name that’s why I prefer to just use the first letter, C.
I may look like 12 but I’m already 20 something. I’m from Makati, the city that is famous for its skyscrapers, upscale malls, and entertainment hubs, and is well known for being the business district in the Philippines. Thanks to my hometown, I was able to know more about different cultures and nationalities.

Aside from being a city girl my whole life, I visit my province La Union from time to time. It is well known for its surfing spots and beach life, the reason why the sound of waves makes me calm.

I am an ESFJ, a consul according to the Myers-Briggs Personality Types. For consuls like me, life is better when we engage with people to share what life is about. I have the same personality type as the famous Taylor Swift, Cersei Lannister of House Lannister (hello to those who watch and read Game of Thrones, I’m a fan!), and Monica Geller of Friends.
Why Cthings?
C represents my name and things for the things I do in my way. It’s like my own brand. My friends and my partner used to label the things I do as C things because I do things quite different and in everything I do, I go for an extra mile.
Why am I here and What to expect?
Curiosity strikes whenever I see the word Hive in other people’s writings. Many thanks to @kneelyrac for leading me here and to the Hive PH Community on discord for answering my queries.
Expect to be with me as I go through the journey of being an all-around newbie. I am not just here to share with you what I’m up to, I’m also here to learn from you.
An All-Around Newbie

Growing up playing Sims on Nintendo DS, I realized I could be anything I wanted to be. I can be a chef, a vet, a kid, an elder, a ghost, or even an alien! There’s no limit on who I can be. I wanted to try everything that fascinates me, in that way, I can say I truly lived my life. With that, I became a multi-passionate human being, an all-around newbie.
By profession, I am an educator.

I find teaching interesting that’s why I took the education route. I’m a graduate of Literature Education from one of the well-known state universities in the Philippines. It was so fascinating to me to the point that I had taken the course seriously and finished it with flying colors. This made me believe in myself even more, that with perseverance and determination, I could be anything I wanted to be. Before graduation, I had secured a job and so far I have taught preschoolers, grade school pupils, and high school students from various nationalities. Teaching doesn’t end on a weekday basis, well as for me, I continue to teach even on weekends for private tutorials and as a volunteer teacher on Sundays.
Bibliophile

Aside from teaching, reading books is one of the things that I love doing. It started when I was a kid who's bored at home and had nothing else to do aside from looking at the yellow directory pages and reading them one by one. Then, reading became a habit. From directory pages to newspapers then magazines. At the age of 11, when kids were buying trendy shoes and clothes, or even gadgets, I was saving for Goosebumps books, TotalGirl, and Candy Magazines.
It is also one of the reasons why I chose Literature as my major in college. Literature itself, in all forms, made it possible for me as an all-around newbie to travel and know more about other things as I read books and analyze them.
Theatergoer

Part of being a Literature major is loving the art itself, including the theater arts. I have been a theatergoer and watched several plays and musicals. My love for theater arts began when our professor in college asked us to watch Kleptomaniacs: The Rap Musical at the Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino in the Cultural Center of the Philippines. The way they act, the music, the stage, everything, including the message of the play fascinates me. I even dreamt of becoming a theater actress too! One of the musicals I've watched is the popular Phantom of the Opera, in Solaire. (That’s a story I’d love to share with you here soon!)
Explorer

I believe I’m not just a traveler. I am an explorer - a thrill-seeker, cultural, and party animal - all in one. When I travel, I make sure to learn, do new things, unwind, and relax as I immerse myself in nature. As a person who grew up in a city, I long for beaches and mountains.
Coffee Lover

Cafe hopping is one part of my routine, as well as drinking more than three cups of coffee in a day, where indeed I got my hyperacidity. Living in a city full of malls and coffee shops makes it easier for me to try different coffees and pastries.
Entrepreneur

As a multi-passionate one, it’s difficult for me to choose which niche to focus on when it comes to business. I entered the retail business, I sold bags and shoes when I was in college but after quite some time, I got bored and switched to arts and crafts then switched again to my recent one, the CravingSavers where I showcase my homemade silken tofu. (This is another story I’d love to share with you. Stay tuned!)
Gamer
I'm a self-proclaimed gamer.I play when I’m bored or when I’m inspired. I’m currently obsessed with Sims 4 and I’m playing it on my computer whenever I can. I have shared some situational stories about it on my readcash blog, you can check them out here. Aside from Sims 4, I am into Mobile Legends and Stardew Valley nowadays.
I am not just these things. I am a singer and dancer, and I play musical instruments too such as piano, guitar, and basics of drums. I’m into calligraphy, bullet journal, and kdramas as well. Ahhhh so many interests! There are a lot of fun things I do from time to time and I can’t wait to share them with you here. I can’t tell you in one post who I am and what I’m all about.
How do I manage to do all these things?
Well, although we only have limited time in a day, I make sure to use my time and energy wisely by budgeting them through my bullet journal and Notion.

Just like how I perceive myself, my blog Cthings isn’t limited to what I have listed above.
See for yourself as I lay down in my future blogs what life is like through the lens of an all-around newbie. I hope you’d gain something beneficial from my future blogs.
Thanks for reading! Let me know which topic would you like to read first from an all-around newbie like me.
