That yes yes ... And the party and the drug where? Ibiza is very cool, and although I've been to all of them, I will not be the one to invite you to come to the clubs. For that, the big media are in charge of perverting the image of the island. If you like the theme you can go to Privilege, Amnesia, Pachá or the most recent Hotel Ushuaya where spectacular parties are also set up.
If you want to know the island a bit, I will recommend some places that I personally love. Keep in mind that the months of July and August this is bursting with people. To not overwhelm you, and to save more than double what you could pay for hotels in these two months, I recommend you sooner or later.
To see some beautiful sunsets I recommend going to Cala Conta and Cala d'Hort. In the latter you can enjoy the majestic islet opposite (Es Vedrà). A few summers ago I came to him with my friend Marcos. By the way, do not tell anyone because haha ??is forbidden ... We used an inflatable raft and paddled until we reached "Es vedranell", which is the closest island to the coast. The weak point, and at the same time more interesting of this adventure is that we pinched the raft as soon as we reach the rocks. We slept there among skeletons of rats and discussed some stories of UFOs happened in those parts ... the next morning we headed to the coast again. The returning was exciting. We prayed that the patch we had put on would hold us until we reached the ground. We had to overcome a sea infested with jellyfish while we saw how the raft was deflating more and more. We also suffered for the photographic equipment and other belongings ... everything went well and we ate partridges (not sure if exist this phrase in english haha). Hey, I deviate from the subject and nobody tells me! ... In the next photo you can see Cala d'Hort and the islet of which I have spoken.
In the morning you could go to Aguas Blancas or Cala de Sant Vicente, for example. They are both very sandy. I say in the morning because they are in the East, so in the evening it gets dark soon. If you would like to bathe as God brought you to the world you can do it in Aguas Blancas without anyone looking at you badly because it is nudist. The next picture is of this beach. On the way you can stop in a small town called Sant Carlos. If you're hungry, you can have some montaditos (bread with all kinds of things on top) in the restaurant "Ca N'Aneta". Homemade Ibizan herbs will also serve you, you should not go home without trying them.
On the road to Sant Carlos (from Ibiza) you will find "Las Dalias", a very diverse hippy market.
To the north we have the wettest side and the wildest nature. Keep the towel and the "flip-flaps" and put some shoes, you will need. For me the north is the most beautiful thing there is and where less people go for its difficult accesses. You can dare to go to Cala Aubarca or Cala Sardina (in this you will not even see a tourist). See you there if you like cliffs and excursions. If you go to San Mateo, stop by "Can Maimó". Hopefully my brother will show you the wineries where they prepare wine with the grapes of the earth. You can also enjoy a tasting of their products.
You can also visit the town of Santa Agnes and ask for "Es broll" or "The doors of heaven", two places that will make you reconnect with your being by just being there.
In Ibiza there are three main cities. The rest are villages of those of a Church, two or three restaurants and four houses ... well, maybe I exaggerated a bit. Do you understand me no? These cities are Ibiza, San Antonio and Santa Eularia. Take a tour around the castle of Ibiza at night. It is very romantic. San Antonio is not very to my liking, because it is where the worst tourist character accumulates. If you want to drink and surround yourself with foreigners who drink, get yourself a hotel there. There is the street of "West End" full of pubs until the wee hours of the morning. However, it also has some gems like "Cala Salada" (see the next photo) or "Punta Galera", very close to the city and accessible by bus.
In Santa Eularia you can breathe a much calmer atmosphere. You will see more families and grandparents walking. In "Es Canar" they set up another big "hippy market" on Wednesdays.
If you think about coming to work during the summer season, it is an excellent idea because many people are looking for work in the hotel business, mainly souvenirs, rent a car, supermarkets, etc. Of course, you'd better live in a tent because rental prices are going to hahaha clouds. It is precisely for this reason that there is more work available lately: people who came from outside the island to work do not come to such an account to come.
