Hello everyone, my name is Darren.
I am a retired engineer.
Originally from Birmingham England, now living in sunny Poland, not so warm here at the moment though.
I love fixing broken things, any, and also like art, painting, photography is also a passion as is playing the saxophone.
I have been on here for 28 days, and was struggling a little with what I wanted to do on here, now my mission has been decided.
I had the offer from @mudcat36 & @davemccoy to co-found a new project to help new members with editing, suggestions and free resteems, all help will be at no cost to any of them.
The project is called #newbieresteemday, and we will be taking it in turns to spend a day helping new people, so now I get to help others and with the amount of very excellent talent on here already, we get to enrich steemit even more, by making new members welcome and helping them to grow, we feel that this can only make steemit even better, with fresh exciting talent being promoted and helped upwards.
I even managed to mess the year up oops :-)
