Good Evening Hivians! Just a brief introductory post from me to start my Hive journey. I'm excited to have discovered Hive and looking forward to exploring everything it has to offer! I'm JD, a newcomer to the crypto space so tips and tricks are much appreciated. I'm 32, live in central Vermont with my wife Elizabeth, my 4 year old daughter Sky, our dog Melvin, and our tortoise Turtonator. I love the outdoors and gardening as well as gaming and technology. We hope to have a functioning homestead here so expect lots of gardening and nature posts! I take pictures on our daily walks around our property and along the river 😁. I game, play a tongue drum, and tinker with tech in my spare time- though spare time is at a premium some days!
Since the beginning of our current Global Health Situation I've been homeschooling my daughter and have taken on the role of stay at home dad, teacher, and jack of all trades. I am proud to have been able to support my family through some of the toughest times we've faced. However those same difficulties have led us to reconsider our lifestyles and search for new ways to support ourselves that can give us back our time, energy, and freedom to pursue our passions and interests rather than just make ends meet. It's because of this drive that I discovered the Hive platform specifically and the reason why I invested in cryptocurrencies in general.
I hope to learn a lot here and help the hive to thrive!
