Hello,
I'm a former tech sector survivor who has worked as a software engineer and project manager in the pharmaceutical industry, entertainment and international publishing, racked up some high-end consulting fees as a CTO and got my hands dirty in the early startup craze. I've also started a couple businesses of my own, bought some bitcoin when it was less than $40 (and sold it not long after), trained neural networks before it was "cool", created a few apps and did some teaching.
All along the way I've been writing too and right now I'm focused on a writing project that I consider more important than anything I've done so far.
What I intend to do here is talk about technology and how it's affected our lives throughout our entire existence. I won't be hyperfocused on new technology at first but it will creep in as a discussion about what lead to them and where our newer technology is heading.
I also have a ton of hard-fought experience with system life-cycle, process / resource management and scope pitfalls and I'm very willing to share my experience with anyone who I think needs to hear it.
