Hello world,
My name is Jair, I'm 29, Venezuelan, father of a beautiful 3 years old boy, passionate about music, art, design. Deeply believer on democracy, liberty, peace and common sense, also I'm a survivor to the past 22 years of "revolution" on my country.
These years has been an everyday struggling to cover primary needs for every Venezuelan outside of the corrupted circle of our government. Life goes completely to another perspective when you can't cover things like, your everyday breakfast, the medicine for your health treatment or more simple, the implements to maintain your personal hygiene, by other hand the insecurity, everyday dies at least 44 persons only by violence crimes in my country, you guys can do the math... It's frightening! You never know when is gonna be your turn or your family members. This kind of thing make you value how bless and fortunate you are right now or in my case... had been. I can say that, because I used to lived in a whole different country 22 years ago, Before everything goes to hell, thanks to socialism and fake revolution, which ends just as a bunch of dictators and genocides taking over my beautiful country.
As a consequence of this situation venezuelans have 2 options
- Resign oneself
- Run away to everywhere out of the country and seek for a future. (If you can afford it)
I choose the second... And I have a plan (kinda)
So I invite you guys to follow me and stay attend to my journey this nexts months, I plain to travel BY ROAD from Venezuela to Peru. all over, crossing borders... Is a 7 days roadtrip, a very tough and comfortless trip, but I have all my hopes put on this, It should work, and hopefully I can find a job, in Lima, Peru and help my family and son in Venezuela.
In my next post I'm going to put more details about my journey.
