Hey everyone!
So glad to be finally joining in for the Steemit madness!
I'm Gabi (side story: my name is actually Gabriele but ever since moving abroad, no one could pronounce it right (you might ask 'what's so special about the pronunciation?', I'll tell ya - that's a whole another post right there haha) so I got the nickname and it stuck with me), I'm originally from Lithuania but been living and studying in the Netherlands for almost 3 years now. And yes, I love telling side stories.
I sometimes like talking too much and too fast which I will go ahead and write under my talents.
Doing my bachelor in International and European Law but having been a solid youtubers/bloggers/instagrammers addict over the past couple years, I decided it would be fun to give it a shot myself - so here I am!
I love love love sea and beaches! My absolute happy place :)
Here's another one from the beach - only that time it was +10 hahaha
I'm a wonderer in life. Even if I have certain goals and dreams, I always find adventures and various things that open up my eyes and broaden my horizons. I really like being busy, I think that's one thing that makes me happy - always having things to do :) I'm a great believer of the saying that 'the more you do the more you get done'.
My moto is 'everything depends on perspective'! And I truly swear by it. I believe that the way we feel in certain situations or about certain things is in our control because we can choose the way we think and therefore how we perceive things. I always try to find a positive angle and if I fail, I keep on looking until I'm able to find one :)
I love travelling and think it is one thing that everyone should be able to make time/budget for. The feeling you get when exploring new cities or countries or locations is uncomparable - it makes me feel rich, fulfilled, accomplished and happy. For me travelling is all about emotions and the feel - it's like being high on life haha.
I went to Slovenia for my exchange - truly a stunning country with great people and wonderful nature!
Lately, I've also also been trying to be more conscious about sustainability. I've realised that the amount of waste each one of us creates is enormous and have sarted evaluating my purchases and choices when it comes to clothes, things, plastic food. But I'll write another post about that :)
So here are some random thoughts and facts about me :) I kind of suck when it comes to telling about myself but I love hearing about other people so please share in the comments something that makes you happy, I would love to hear!
Lots of love,
Gabi
