Finally i felt myself ready to be a part of this interesting organization.
After a few weeks, hanging around and trying to understand what’s going on over here, i decided to prepare my first post, introduce myself and share my impression about steemit.
I must say that this is a very interesting platform. There are different people, different cultures, different characters, different purposes. I hope that i will make a good contribution to the system. As far as i can understand, the system is trying to regulate the environment. It is not an easy process but i think they are good at it for now and will be much better. Forget everything, it is fun here ! What brought me here was my interest in crypto-currencies but i think steemit is totally different. Maybe i will have limited time but when i am in, i am in. I’ll do my best.
I am from Turkey. I like to travel and see new places. I’ve seen a few. I like basketball, beach volley and windsurfing. I studied computer engineering and working as a system analyst . The company i work for has branches in about 10 countries, and as a Global System Analyst , i need to visit those countries often. That makes me a frequent traveller. My home is in Istanbul but i’ve been visiting Mexico, Morocco, Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Bulgaria, South Africa, China and US for businesses purposes and of course some more as a tourist. I am planning to share my interesting experiences with you. My very first expertise is on enterprise resource planning softwares. Even my first duty is to make the analysis and design the solution, i am a bit hands-on analyst. I like solving some issues myself, even i make coding for that. But that’s just like a hobby to me. Starting from scratch, examine the problem, make the design, developing and realizing the solution, testing and give it to user. Seeing a smile on the end user’s face and getting a thanks message is worthless.
I started playing basketball when i was 9. My childhood and youth was always between practices, games and school. I continued playing till the end of university. After that my professional career and my ambition on my job turned me to just a very good fan of basketball games. I am not very interested in NBA games because time difference between US and my country is like 8 hours. I need to sleep when the NBA games are played. But i follow almost all national and Euroleague games. I always join Euroleague Final 4 organizations on site. 3 years ago in Madrid, 2 years ago in Berlin and last year in Istanbul. I’ve already reserved my tickets and flight to Belgrad for 2018. I have a seasonal ticket for my team of Istanbul and will go to the game against Barcelona this Friday.
In summer i like playing beach volley and windsurfing and partying. See you soon for some details.
