The last one and a half year we have been learned there's fake news all around us left, right and center. There's not a single day passing without the buzzwords popping up and they're correct in doing so.
Problem is that the concept is nothing new. It's been around us quite long, for decades.
We'd need to be able to trust our media to bring us a balanced account of events, but they increasingly fail. We are being served one side of events; we are supposed to believe in a single world view.
Planet News doesn't agree. We think that, no matter what, all accounts of a story should be brought so that you, the public opinion, can #makeupyourownmind. That's the reason you'll read another side of events here continuously. The side you do not know about. The side not brought by the big ones. You might agree and you might not. You might like our posts as much as another might despise them. We're not here to proclaim the truth; we're here to make you think.
Rest assured: we do not have the guts to vow to be correct all the time; in fact, we think we all make mistakes continuously. It's not the single examples which matter; it's the general idea.
We post what we post for you to #makeupyourownmind. The media doesn't need to do that for you.
