I as introduced to this site by @meno and he tells me this is the place to be. I am what people call an ex-pat living in Ecuador for the past 17. I first came a long time ago as a missionary, and fell in love with the place.
I have a small food business in a little coastal town in South America, and as it turns out @meno is a friend a client. He seems love chimichangas.
I came originally in fear for my life and to protect the life of my son. In the time I've been here, I've had quite a few experiences that have shaped me as a person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
At some point we'll touch on an experience where I died and came back. It almost sounds fictional, but the truth a lot more interesting than lies in my experience here on this planet.
I'm a handyman, a builder, a language teacher, a cook, a father, and a great friend. I'm a Speech/Language pathologist and from that I gleaned how to learn and teach languages quickly by using what the brain does naturally.
I don't know where this path will lead, but I'm sure it will be one of growth and I'm excited to see what comes with it. I hope possibly to inspire others with my experiences.
Sincerely yours
Jon
