Hi everyone,
My name is Keith. This is my introduce yourself post. I live a very international life. I am from the States but live in Germany. I serve as a Pastor in a Church here in the beautiful city of Heidelberg. My wife is from Istanbul and we have a son named Aslan.
The reason I opened up a steemit account can be boiled down into the following:
My wife and others have been encouraging me that I not only have the gift of speaking, but of writing as well. In my attempt to impact people's lives, it is time for me to start using this platform in living out my call in life to help others.
A growing desire to write has been developing in me, and I am acting on that now.
A growing desire to help others learn about life essentials has been developing in me as well. I plan to write on topics about life skills such as goal setting, time management and overall wellness. I am generally avert to life hack gurus, so this is a bit of a paradox for me. But I feel strongly about personal development, and that I have quality insights to offer.
I must admit, I am an introvert by nature, though I speak publicly on a weekly basis (preaching sermons). I do not like to promote myself, just the ideas, concepts and truths that I know will benefit people's lives.
I will write mostly about personal development items such as spiritual and emotional health, planning, organization and goal setting. There is a reason there is such a huge market for this sort of material, because we all need help getting our lives together.
I will also write about travel. Travel is just part of my life, and recently I visited three beautiful cities here in Europe (Prague, Vienna and Salzburg) and cant wait to share about them.
I am also involved in Crypto Currency, though on novice terms at best.
Lastly, I will be using this platform to build up my platform in general as I move forward with ideas about doing this more full time, therefore I will have to work on my marketing skills (so please know, I hate self promotion, but will have to promote my material in order to be effective) and brand building.
All things have a beginning, normally small. I hope this small beginning develops into something impactful and that you will join me on the journey.
Thanks for reading this!
Keith
