Hey Steemians,
What’s going on? Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
This is my first post on Steemit, so let me start with how I got into this great and decentralized platform.
Common, we have to admit crypto market is now pretty stagnant since the exuberant bitcoin run up followed by a shitcoin party. Alts are down because everybody is looking at what the big daddy bitcoin is doing, and bitcoin has been rejected by major resistance line a few times.
Not that I think my opinions matter though guys haha. I don’t think I am qualified. These are just the opinions I have by learning from some OG on Twitter and Youtube.
Yes everything is on a huge discount now compared to a couple months ago, and it’s a good time to go back to the fundamentals and do more researching. There is money to be made in a bear market for sure, but admittedly if you don’t know what you’re doing, it’s not easy. And we all know it’s hard to be a good trader due to emotions.
So yea that’s why I am joining steemit to look for more actions while there’s not much action in crypto market. I am not the kind of person who can sit around and chill for a long time, and I need to take on new project all the time to keep busy. Always have something to work on is my happiness. Speaking of which, what’s your happiness?
Also I love sharing and exchanging stories, experiences and thoughts, and blogging is a great way to achieve that especially within this lovely and wonderful community.
Let me introduce myself a bit more. (I had some space cake, please bear me with the stoner thoughts below :P)
My mom and dad are Chinese and I was born in China. However I grew up both in China and New Zealand, so I am fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin, Cantonese). I decided to leave my family and quit my university and go overseas by myself when I was 16. Yea this to everybody that I have met is a BOLD move, even to myself. I was still a little girl and a teenager, and of course my dad wasn’t approved of that. Imagine if your little daughter wanted to do that. But I was a stubborn, headstrong and persistent, and I got my dad cry over this (guilty).
Ever since I’ve been living by myself overseas in 4 different cities and countries (Hongkong, New Zealand, Thailand, Netherlands) in the past 6 years, and been financially independent. Of course finance is a way how my family could control me. If I needed their financial help I would have to go home, so I have never asked for cent from my parents. They really love me though and always ask if I ever need money.
It’s another whole lot of story involved rainbows and tears about how I manage everything. All the stress and the pressure from myself making sure I know what I am doing and making the best decisions for myself instead of just messing around and having fun. You’d have a chance to hear my boring stories in the future promise haha.
In short, it’s been an amazing ride and I feel like I am always the luckiest girl ever because everybody I meet tells me how unusual and special my stories are and how much respect they have for me for doing what I do, no matter how much shit I go through. Work hard, stick to our values and people see it.
Now I am based in Bangkok, Thailand grinding on crypto and livin the life. I was supposed to be living in the Netherlands now but I moved back here 6 months ago.
Boys and girls, if you’re also in Bangkok, drop me a line and come say hi! I can’t wait to make more new friends! If you’re not in Bangkok, hit me up when you are! Let’s grow together!
Feel free to say hi to me on social media Instagram and twitter!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
