Hello everyone! My name is Lady Joy Baldon but you can just simply call me “Joy” for short. I’m 32 years of age and a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education, Major in English in Bicol University. I’m a licensed professional teacher though I didn’t end up pursuing the teaching path. I’m currently a non-teaching personnel in a public High School here in our hometown...
I was born on August 28, 1992 in Pasay City, stayed there for almost 12 years but now, I am living a simple life in a small town together with my family. Our hometown Donsol, Sorsogon is a tourist attraction known for Butanding or Whale shark—largest fish in the world yet very peaceful. That's why it is called a gentle giant because it loves to filter-feed only on planktons despite its massive size. Many tourists from all over the world visit our town to swim and snorkel with them. On top of that, the heartwarming and sumptuous food served by the locals were amazing...
My husband and I have been together for almost 14 years and got married in 2016. We have a son and he is now in 7th grade while my husband is working in a call center company in Naga City. On weekends, we love to spend our family time by visiting the beach (Dancalan Beach) near us. We bring food there and enjoy the serenity and tranquility the waves bring us. We also love watching movies together while eating some yummy snacks I prepared beforehand. Sometimes we go to the mall like SM to enjoy and have some fun or eat food that we crave for that time. If we have extra budget we travel to different places so that we can relax and enjoy the beautiful scenic views...
Quality time is very important to us because that’s the time we can bond and share our love to each other since during weekdays we are all busy with school, work and some other stuff. That’s why we make sure that every weekend we make time and effort in order to enjoy each other’s company...
During my free time, I love to explore and discover passions and hobbies that will suit my interest. One of them is making desserts like graham bars and mango floats. I find joy and excitement in mixing the ingredients and preparing them for my family. I made different flavors like cookies and cream, chocolate, mango and strawberry. And they love the outcome! They said that it tastes good and even my husband told me that I should try to sell it so that other people can taste it too. What a lovely idea! So we try to sell it and everyone loves it! Now I have a hobby turned into a small business...
I must say that life had other plans for me, but I’m still grateful for that. And I think one of that plans are when @antonette and I met through Facebook. She is so kind that she told me all about the wonderful world of Hive. She oriented me on how Hive works and onboarded me on this platform. She taught me the rules and policies of posting, that plagiarism and using of AI in posting is strictly prohibited in which I fully understand and will abide.
Through her, I learned the importance of quality postings and quality engagements in this community. I am more than happy and excited because I really wanted to join here! And finally, I will have a community where I can learn and share my life stories and experiences and where I can express myself through my passion which is writing. Thank you Hive for connecting me to the world...
I also love to take raw pictures using my own camera and make edits through Canva. So that’s where I edited my own photos here and create a wonderful design.
I hope you will join me as I take this journey of my blogging era and share wonderful thoughts and experiences with all of you. Thank you and Enjoy reading!
