Hello everyone! I am Monsterofsteem and I am gonna catch em all. Sounds familiar? Let's just recap it for all those of us that did not in fact grow up with Pokémon;
I have been around on Steemit under other pseudonyms but Steem Monsters interests me to such a degree that I have become Monsterofsteem and will dedicate this whole account to that!
But with all those players about buying cards and getting to the top of the tournaments which are starting soon it seems to me that another added layer of difficulty is necessary to make this a real yourney.
Therefore I have decided on the following rules:
- My deck will in the beginning only contain the starter set
- I will build my deck using only rewards from the daily quest
- I am allowed to sell a card which I won and buy booster packs, but never use the card market
So now it is time to hope for one of these;
To start my challenge this account was created from the steemmonsters site. It started out with zero steem and only a small delegation of 20 sp. Without outside means (apart from your votes!) I will set out and see how far I can get in the new November season which just started!
Day 1:
I recieved the following quest;
The water splinter it is! And in case you were wondering if it is possible to win with just the starter kit I have an answer. It is definitely possible. You do need to build a proper deck though. I decided to go with this specific build;
Even with this deck it took me quite a few rounds to get to the final victory, but here is the result, my first booster pack;
