The Intro of her Journey
Good day, Everyone! I’ll try my very best to introduce myself in a short, direct and simple manner as possible as I can. I would like to introduce myself as @mynamesrai in this platform and well, I came up with this username because I wanted a new personality for me, a little change of personality wouldn't hurt right? Anyway, I am 17 years of age, and will be turning 18 this September 23 and my Zodiac sign is Libra. My hometown is the small province of Sab-a San Remigio Cebu, Philippines. I live in a simple home with a simple lifestyle, a small house with a small living room enough for our family of five. I always dream to have my own bedroom in our house, where I can do my own things without being disturbed by my sister's screams and pointless arguments, I want to have my own study table and write letters just like Su Zai Zai, together with my adorable dog.

Random facts about me; Firstly, I am the most random person on earth, I tend to spit out everything that I find interesting in my mind. Secondly, I believe that when life give you lemons make lemonade, whatever life gave you, make it have purpose and not leave it on waste. And finally the last one which I love the most in this planet earth are my pets, I'm a pet lover where I love to spoil them, to play with them and kiss them (even though they play in the mud sometimes)
And here's my favourite place, the Ocean, with my favourite scenery, which is the sunset. Seeing this makes my heart in peace and miserable at the same time, because of my nostalgic ass personality. It makes me think of all the good times just before realizations came— This chapter in life is just too much for me, it's breaking me in the most cruel way possible upon realizing everything is not the same anymore. Back then I was still able to watch the bright sun, and the sunset with my friends before they have gone to college, we use to hang out everyday in the mango tree to eat mango with bagoong. But today, everything was just a memory as we have separated with our own paths in life. But, on the other hand, sunsets also heal me as they make me calm every time I feel anxious and worried over some things in life, even things that I can't control. Sunsets made me realize that not all the endings are bitter, sometimes ending are as beautiful as the sunset as you can start a new journey or experiences in your life.
My Passion and Interest
Well, as for my Passion and Interests I would say one of my passion really is writing ever since I was in grade 7 I was already into writing, I started creating short stories and poems with different genres. Back then, I never thought writing would be this hard, but interesting at the same time, for me writing is like creating your own fairytale in your head, recreating your best memories in life, and expressing your emotions by listing down your encounters in life. When I was still starting to write, it was very heartwarming because perhaps I feel more bright and light as I get to write down my grudges in life. Whenever something interesting happens to me in my daily life, I tend to write it down on this diary notebook, especially my junior high school experiences.
For me writing is more than passion, it's more like a hobby, my daily life routine I like writing my errand everyday starting from waking up to falling asleep. Whenever I get a new pet, I always write it down; the day they I got them, their names and their death anniversary (as for my babies who passed away) and also, everytime I write in my phone sometimes I like to include their pictures in my diary and write down how they obediently sit next to me whenever I do something, how cute they are when they sleep, how mushy they are everytime they eat, how grumpy they are when hungry, and their silliness. However, behind the things I wrote in my notebook is a rollercoaster adventure I had experience in my life, especially the Pandemic.
Pandemic was pretty traumatizing, pandemic made me realize a lot of things, pandemic opened up my eyes. That time where we were currently struggling from financial problem, to the point where we struggle to find a food to eat in the morning, and mother had gone out in the woods getting forage for our cow and goats. By that time I can't help but think “why is this happening?” and I was hurt seeing my mother, doing her best just to provide for us, therefore to lessen my sadness I decided to write it down on my notebook, to vent out everything I have feeling all at once. That time, I realized how thankful I was with my diary.
Last October, 2024 there was a school based press conference in our school, and I've decided to join the Feature writing category since I was aiming for grades that time. The Feature writing experience was very wholesome for me, during the time where I was still writing it I was very pressured by the co writers since they seem very intelligent and perceptive, but I stayed calm and tried to write the things I have in my mind, and I featured my mother as the unnoticed hero of our hometown.
When the day of the announcement of the result came, I was very hopeless because the 5th until the 3rd placer was announced, that time my hope totally vanished but them the emcee suddenly mentioned my name as the second placer, I was flabbergasted to the core, never in my life have I dreamed to be a second placer. I know some of you might think second placer is not enough because it's just ”a one step closer to the victory” and I could have place higher. However, I disagree being in the second place meant so much to me because it was my first time to have come that far, as a second placer I was ecstatic. That experience made me realize a lot of things. Most importantly, I was happy because I considered it as my training ground, especially the knowledge I have gained from that experience it was very significant for me and it will always hold a place in my heart and mind.
Who introduced me to Hive?
The person who introduced me to Hive was Ma'am @callmesmile ; Ma'am Smile introduced the Hive by orienting us in our classroom last month; she told us about the pros and cons of the Hive, its advantages and the other nature of Hive. The reason I want to join hive is because I want to improve my writing skills, and my reading comprehension in English. I want to widen my vocabulary to be more knowledgeable, and I believe that learning English is significant for my future as I get to encounter more people and experiences by tomorrow.
