Hey Steemians! My name is Nick and I'm new here.

I'm a 30 year old front-end web developer and native New Yorker living in the New York City metro area. I'm passionate about computer science, web development, cryptocurrencies, and Rangers hockey.

I plan on using Steemit as an alternative to the traditional social media sites and to discover fun things and network with new people. I will also be posting programming tutorials for those interested in web development pertaining to Javascript and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js). I've noticed there aren't a lot of programming posts and Steemit seems like a great place for this kind of thing.
