Hello Steemit !!

I am Nihar Kalita from Assam, India. I am a 19 years old boy from a middle class family. My father died when I was 10. So now its just my mom and me. :)

I joined Steemit 3 months ago, but actually joined (you know what I mean xD) like 3 weeks ago when my friend @rahul.stan bought a electric guitar from his Steemit earnings. I was like "Whoa ! This is great. I have to do this." and here I am. ;)

So who am I ??

I am just a regular teenager who doesn't like to study. I am more into the music and YOLO stuff. I play guitar and am hoping to buy a Jackson King V in a couple of months. I love metal music more than anything \m/ . Some of my favorite bands are Metallica, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Pantera and the list goes on...

Besides music, travelling is my 2nd favorite thing to do. I travel a lot, to beautiful natural places, riding with my buddies and I love to capture those moments.

My other hobbies include watching movies and tv/web series (big fan of CW's SUPERNATURAL).

I always love to make new friends,love to make my friends laugh by my silly jokes.

I just want everyone to be happy. We only live once, right?!

What I'll be posting ??

I will mainly post guitar cover videos of popular metal and rock songs in D.tube (I've already posted 2. Check'em out now.).

The journey so far

I was a bit confused what to do in this platform at first like everyone else. Thanks to these two @rahul.stan @nilim. They helped me whenever I got confused what to do next. I also learned a lot by reading posts of these great steemians @intelliguy @firepower @kingscrown and many more.

And I think Steemit is the best platform for youths like me. Because most of them are always busy with there smartphones; chatting, scrolling memes and stuff, watching Youtube and other things. So instead of wasting their time on such things,here they can earn money by using their potentials. It would be great if every teenagers earn their own pocket money. I hope to earn not for the family, but at least for myself because that would also be helpful for my Mom.
