Hello, steemit! This is silversaver888.
With the help of @Dwingsworld, I joined steemit several months back and dived into posting my first two blogs without first introducing myself. Am I the only one who did not read the White Paper, FAQ and Help sections of steemit? Anyway, I thought that I would introduce myself to the community this time around!
Not too long ago, I uploaded my first video on YouTube which catapulted me to silver and gold stacking. Although my channel is devoted to sharing my journey in saving precious metals, and just like many of you, my interests are many and varied.
Some of my interests include horseback riding (show jumping and equitation), Yorkshire Terrier breeding and conformation dog showing, Hula Kahiko (traditional, primitive dancing) and Hula ‘Auana (modern hula dancing), playing musical instruments (piano, organ, guitar, ukulele and violin), languages, shopping for clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories (like most girls), running, surfing, swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, general physical fitness, baking, cooking, eating, wine tasting, traveling, and for sure I forgot several more. Yes, I am into a lot of things- but who isn’t?
At least 2 hours of my week is devoted community service helping the needy. I am also a cancer survivor, have been in remission for over a year now, and thus I devote a few hours a month participating in support groups for other cancer patients. I am in my early 40s and dream to live a full life to my 70s.
Most recently I traveled to Southeast Asia. At the behest of @stokjockey, I’d like to share a bit of my travel with you. Except for dog breeding, conformation showing and surfing, I think that I got to enjoy a bit of all of my interests during this trip!
