Hello Steemians, my name is Simon and I am looking forward to meet nice people and Blockchain enthusiasts!
I live in Baden-Wuerttemberg Germany.
I completed my academic studies (B.Sc.) in the field of mechanical engineering and mechatronics in 2016. Since then I work as an electronics engineer for a manufacturer of motorcycle accessories.
I am particularly interested in the areas of future technologies, motorcycle (offroad) and gaming. Blockchain technology and digital currencies have been familiar to me for a while. However, the advent of Ethereum made me more interesed into the topic and I gained a deeper understanding. Since then I have been enthusiastic about the possibilities offered by this branch. Of course, I am also invested to support the upcoming industry and possibly benefit from it. This is also the reason why I registered myself on Steemit. I think the concept is excellent. I think it's good that people realize the value of their content and their personal data. This value of data should not flow into the pockets of centralized corporations that bombard you with personalized advertising. Accordingly, you will find me only on Steemit and no other social media site.
My contribution to this community is mainly in upvotes for other users. In the MEME categorie you can definitely get me excited about Business Cat. My own blog posts will be very versatile and consist of private content that I think is worth sharing. For example, I am just starting a small series of photos + short stories about a trip to Canada last autumn. All my blog posts will be bilingual.
In this community,I would like to find people who are as interested in blockchain applications as I am. People that are interested in an exchange of thoughts, and are also professional in the field of information technology. There are already some ideas for useful blockchain applications, but I'm missing the exchange of thoughts. Meanwhile, I have several years of programming experience with C #, C ++ and Python and have already implemented or pushed some private projects.
Below is a picture of my current crypto portfolio. If you are interested I am happy to answer your questions. Otherwise I am not interested in writing blog posts about cryptocurrencies and investment. In my opinion, Steemit already has a very rich and qualitative offer in this area.

Gegenwärtig lebe ich in Baden-Württemberg Deutschland.
Im Jahr 2016 habe ich ein Studium zum B.Sc. im Bereich Maschinenbau und Mechatronik abgeschlossen. Seitdem arbeite ich als Elektronikingenieur für einen Hersteller von Motorradzubehör.
Privat interessieren mich vor allem die Bereiche Zukunftstechnologien, Motorrad (Offroad) und Gaming. Die Blockchaintechnologie und digitale Währungen waren mir schon etwas länger geläufig. Allerdings bin ich erst seit dem Aufkommen von Ethereum etwas tiefer in die Thematik eingetaucht und seitdem begeistert von den sich bietenden Möglichkeiten dieser Branche. Natürlich bin ich auch selbst investiert, um die Branche zu unterstützen und eventuell davon zu profitieren. Dies ist auch der Grund warum ich mich hier bei Euch auf Steemit angemeldet habe. Ich finde einfach das Konzept hervorragend. Ich finde es gut dass Menschen der Wert ihres Contents und auch ihrer persönlichen Daten bewusst wird. Dieser Wert der Daten sollte nicht in die Taschen zentralisierter Konzerne fließen, die einen zusätzlich mit personalisierter Werbung bombardieren. Dementsprechend findet Ihr mich auch nur auf Steemit und keiner anderen social media Seite.
Mein Beitrag zu dieser Community besteht vor allem in Upvotes für anderer Nutzer. Im Bereich MEME könnt ihr mich definitiv mit Business Cat begeistern. Meine eigenen Blogposts werden sehr vielseitig sein und aus privaten Content bestehen den ich für teilenswert halte. Beispielsweise starte ich gerade mit einer kleinen Fotoreihe + Kurzgeschichte über eine Kanadareise, aus dem vergangenen Herbst. Alle meine Blogposts werden bilingual sein.
In dieser Community würde ich gerne Menschen finden, die sich ebenso wie ich für Blockchainanwendungen interessieren, an einem Austausch interessiert, und auch beruflich im Bereich der Informationstechnik angesiedelt sind. Es existieren bereits einige Ideen für sinnvolle Blockchainanwendungen aber mir fehlt der Austausch. Mittlerweile kann ich mehrere Jahre Programmiererfahrung mit C#, C++ und Python vorweisen und habe auch schon einige Privatprojekte verwirklicht oder vorangetrieben.
Weiter unten findet Ihr ein Bild meines aktuellen Krypto-Portfolios. Falls Interesse besteht antworte ich gerne auf Fragen. Ansonsten habe ich nicht vor Blogposts zum Thema Kryptowährungen und Investment zu verfassen. Meiner Meinung nach verfügt Steemit bereits über ein sehr reichhaltiges und qualitatives Angebot in diesem Themenbereich.
