Obviously, that is not my real name. That is something I've been using since I read the novel "The Martian." My name is Sri Harsha Pavuluri and I lived most of my life in the south of India. I am 22 years old and I finished my undergrad 3 months ago. I majored in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and I am going to be attending an Erasmus Mundus program (for all you who don't know this, it is a study program by the European Union where you study each semester at a different university in Europe) to do my masters in Space Technology.
This is me:
I did dedicate most of my undergrad time in Space Research and that is what I intend to do for the rest of my life.
I love Sci-Fi and I'm a huge fan of Doctor Who.

I am a type 1 diabetic (diagnosed 4 months ago). A nasty disorder that nobody knows the reason behind or the cure to it. To live, I have to test my Blood glucose several times a day and inject insulin manually to keep it under control. This means 3-4 pricks on fingers per day to test and about 4-5 injections to keep me alive. If I take too less insulin, my blood glucose rises and causes organ damage in long term. If I take too much insulin, I become hypoglycemic (low blood glucose) and might end up in ER or worse, in a coma if not corrected. Sounds adventurous, doesn't it?
My study starts in Germany, then goes on to other countries like Sweden, Finland, and the likes. The building that I am going to stay in during my study period at Germany was apparently an artillery base for Nazi Germany during World War II, renovated to become a student residence. The university itself was decimated during WWII and was rebuilt later. Charming. So I plan to share my travel experience in these beautiful European countries on steemit. I would also be posting about cryptocurrencies, memes, and whatever comes to my mind.
Cheers!
