Hello steemians, been away for a while but I'm back now. I used to co-manage the @derletwins account with Perle but after careful thought and considerations, we decided to have separate accounts for our separate content. Which I think makes more sense. Perle will continue with her motivational posts and I'll be doing posts mainly on history and other stuff. Okay so with that said, let me reintroduce myself again 😂.
I am an entrepreneur with one startup (witywan) under my belt. We launched our first product (Wyets Honey) last two years. The main purpose was to support rural beekeepers by providing readily available market for their produce and so far so good we've made quite some progress. We're even looking to start shipping some of our honey products and accept cryptos (probably SBD or STEEM) as a means of payment.
I am a lover of history and culture and a strong believer that we're all connected no matter which race we belong to and we can find such traces of oneness in various cultures. We're not that different when you study history and world cultures. You'll find numerous basic similarities which proves that our skin colour is just but an aesthetic feature. We're one!
That's me; little king Desmond lolx. Gazing into the sky wondering what the future holds... Growing up, i had always wanted to be a tech geek, a chef or an entrepreneur. A tech geek because i was fascinated about how the world was evolving through cutting edge technologies and i wanted to be part of it and not just a spectator. So i took CCNA and MCSE courses and i never had regrets. I'm drawn to internet security and network systems. Hoping to delve more into it in the near future. Chef because i love food and cooking. In short, i'm a foodie. So why wait for my food when i can cook them myself lolx. I'm also considering taking a culinary course soon.
That right there is my favourite 😊. I finished this particular bowl of dish just this afternoon lolx . The dish above is called Fufu with light soup. Please don't get confused; the soup has no electricity generating properties 😂😂 lolx. It's lighter than must local soups in Ghana that's why the name "light soup". This dish originated from the Akans tribe of Ghana and particularly prepared and enjoyed by the Ashanti's and Akyim's. But then, this dish is widely prepared and enjoyed by almost everyone in Ghana. The fufu is prepared by pounding cooked cassava/yam plus cooked plantain or cocoyam into a fairly soft and fine consistency. If you ever visit Ghana don't forget to try our Fufu. It's super delicious!!!
And finally that's PERLE. If i am a beast, then that's my beauty ❤❤. She's been my teammate, ride or die, best friend, sidekick, lover and my soul's doppelganger 😊. She manages the @derletwins account. Follow her for some inspirational and motivational nuggets.
So basically, that's me in a nutshell. Watch out for some awesome post from me. I won't disappoint 😊.
