About Us
Steemit Pilipinas is a community in Facebook dedicated to help early adopters move into the Steemit platform. We just started a week ago and has been receiving good feedback from members. Our community members come from different walks of life, such as office workers, students, teachers, husbands and housewives among others. At Steemit Pilipinas we treat members like family, nurturing them and helping them grow on the Steemit platform.
What We Aim to Do
We aim to provide support to newcomers especially from the Philippines. It is a known fact that people sometimes dislike change because they fear moving out of their comfort zone, which also applies to online platforms. They fear jumping in to new social media platforms because they are unfamiliar with it. We at Steemit Pilipinas, are eager to help newcomers and early adopters by providing tutorial videos, live video updates, commentaries and community based knowledge sharing so that transitioning from mainstream social media platforms to Steemit will be seamless for newbies. We also aim to provide free Steem sponsorship to worthy topics so they can boost their Steam Power.
What We Hope to Achieve
We hope to that one day, our members can help provide quality content to Steemit contributing to its success and mainstream dominance.
