Hi everyone. First sentence is always hard.. I don't know what to start with...huu
So.. Hello again, my name is Noah (Korean name Young Keun, totally different right?)
I was born in 1987 (31 years old), born in Seoul but lived most of my life in different countries, because of my parents work. I lived in Lyon, Paris, NYC, Addis Ababa, Kinshasa and Lilongwe. I studied Physical Therapy and now I am operating one small Travel Agency.
It's me in the middle blue shirts, with my friends :D
Before I begin a bit of my life story, please understand my broken English, I might lived in a different countries but most of the time I spoke in Korean. At that time .. I was young and fool.. didn't want to study anything........
I was born in Seoul and moved to Lyon, France when I was 6 years old.
It's my first Passport profile picture. Pretty cool right? :)
So, lived in Lyon for few years and moved to Seoul and moved back to Paris, and finally settled down in Korea to enter University, Physical Therapy as major.
I always wanted to become a Physical Therapist. Before I enter University, I was dreaming of Physical Therapist life like I watched in a TV or Movie. Sport therapy, Working out with patients, work as field physical therapist.. running with sports athletes. But in reality, it was not as fancy as I thought.
After my graduation, I got an opportunity to work in a Hospital and worked there for 4 months as an internship. There, I realized that it's not my life that I dreamed. So I decided to quit my first job.
Then I was looking for more active, and something more field work job with my profession and I found a project member recruit announce in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The project was "Mother and Child Health Promotion"
As I like my mother and kids..and my major is healthcare related so I thought I fit in to the project member and I applied it. (didn't know what is about at all) With some luck, I joined as a project member and worked really hard... Real field and active job I always wanted to have! I really enjoyed a lot providing services to people who really need and deserve to have.
After a year I got a job promotion, and moved to Kinshasa worked on same project for about a year. And decided to quit my job.
Here's what happened. I met a boy on a street, he was asking me that he want to learn at school but he doesn't have money to afford it. I decided to provide him education fee, I was happy to provide an opportunities to the boy.
But few weeks later, I met the boy on a street again, and I asked him why are you here now because he should be at school. He said, his mother doesn't want him to study because every family members have to work to afford their living fee.
So I decided to quit not because of I didn't like it but wanted to challenge.
After quitting my job, I traveled to different countries and met different people with different lifestyles.
So I decided to make travel an agency because in my opinion, it's the best way to see how world's trends are moving. My team and I are developing our ideas something more than travel that we can help and travel and earning money at the same time..
So here I am Steemit. I was searching google on new trends, and I read some of information that people share, and gave me some great inspiration thank you. After all, I was not that adaptive to the trends.
I joined here not long ago, and I am looking for starting blog share ideas, information in Steemit.
Ps. If you want to visit Korea, please ask me any questions. I will love to answer your questions!
