Background:
Our world today is filled with so much pain and sorrow, we wake up each morning to stories of wars, terrorist attacks, bombings, killings, famines, drought, natural disasters, etc.
On a daily basis, children are orphaned, people are displaced from their homes, there is an increased level of hunger and famine, lack of portable drinking water, a lot of distressed communities, yet we go about our daily activities as if these people do not matter, but then a little show of love and kindness from us would go a long way to help them.

The above images shows Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in Northern Nigeria and the poor state of living in these camps. There are so many others like that and these people needs our help.
Our Objectives:
Succour-givers exists to help such persons, Succour-givers is a Steem based charity organisation, we exist just to give succour to the needy and the oppressed.
We exist because we do not just want to use the Steem Blockchain as an income/revenue making means, rather we also want to use it as a medium to give back to the society, help the needy, and make our world a better place.
Our Programmes:
Some of our programmes here @succourgivers includes:
Donating food items and cash to orphanages/motherless babies homes.
Donating food items to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps.
Making cash donations to help stabilize areas where there are natural disasters.
Making cash donations to help stabilize war torn areas.
Helping the very poor persons who are ill and can't afford hospital treatments to pay their hospital bills.
Helping the orphaned who had to drop out of school because there is no one to pay their school fees, we would help them with little scholarship programmes.
And other charity activities that would come up from time to time.
Our Approach:
To achieve this aim, we are dedicating this very Steem account to charity, in other words, every income accrue to this account, every post we make with this account, every donation to this account, every dime this account makes whether in SBD or Steem, shall be donated to charity.
Simply put, Succour-givers exists strictly for service to humanity, it is not a profit making venture.
