Introducing my self: Anything but Ordinary

Hey there people of Steemit. I've heard that the shortest distance we could travel is between person are their names. By names we will know so many things about a person, when you know their names, you'll know their stories. As a story teller that I am, allow me to introduce my self. My name is Amalia Suri, you can just call me Mel, shorter, cuter, and easier to remember. Amalia came from the word Amal in arabic, that means Hope, and Suri came from Suri Tauladan, that means a good example. So my name means a good example of hope. We believe name is a prayer and maybe my parents want me to spread hope and be a good example for others, idk honestly. with that being said, I am Hope, in form of a human being.

I'm from Aceh, Indonesia. Aceh is a province at the very top of Sumatra Island and very very special to me. Ameh is home for the last 18 years, minus a year I spent in the United States as an exchange student and minus two years I spent in Jakarta, pursuing my Bachelor degree, and that makes me 21 years old. Legal age :wink:

I like to think that I'm a friendly person, always happy and good with art (and very good at procastinating too). I love cooking and daydreaming. In @steemit I will share my experiences of being an exchange student because it was funny. and also my daily activity, nobody really care probably but it is a good way to keep track of my life and hopefully inspired others, with one or two things.
