It's roughly 10:15 a.m. where I currently am, so this calls for a good morning. Hi (and good morning)! I'm Teva. I'm a playwright, photographer, and actor living in Florida. I also live with a buttload of anxiety (and its many side effects like my brain telling me "you don't know any of those people at that party so you should probably stay home"). It's cool. I deal. But it's mostly why I'm into the things I'm into: theatre and photos. It keeps me [somewhat] sane.
I occasionally take cool trips for work and shows, which I'll share here. Mostly buildings and landscapes of places I've never visited before, things I find inexplicable beauty in. I've taken photos since I was my drama club's Historian in high school, and it always seemed like something that brought me and other people joy at the same time, so I never wanted to stop. Capturing people doing theatre is a main passion of mine, so I also try to shoot theatrical performances whenever I can.
Way back in 2012, I was on a radio show and I went by Teva. It stuck. So it's what I use for everything. I had a stalker once (full disclosure), so I use this name instead of my given one. I'm on Steemit to be part of a creative community. Facebook is a stream of nonsense sometimes, Twitter is overwhelming, and I'm looking to simplify with art. I'm a huge proponent of community and collaboration, and I'm glad to see it's making headway in such a compounded, cacophonous, and crazy world.
