First Steemit Post - My Introduction
My name is Connie Watson, but I go by @therosepatch here on Steem.
I was introduced to Steemit by my friend @keeperofthewoods. The idea of this community intrigued me so I thought I'd come and check things out! I'm hoping that this will serve as a tool to help me be more creative.

A Little More About Myself
I've been in love with horses all of my life, but was never able to build a life around horses. In fact, as a child I would pretend to be a horse, and I'd gallop up and down the hall on all fours, getting bruises and rug burns all the way. I drove my parents crazy with it, but I had a blast. I then spent my teen years finally getting the riding lessons I'd always wanted. I even competed a few times in small shows and I think I still have the ribbons I won.
Because of my love for horses my favorite mythological creature is the unicorn, so a lot of my fantasy stories over the years feature them as main characters.
It's been a very long time since I've written anything, the last being a poem I wrote for the babies I lost through miscarriage before I had my daughter. It is my hope that being on Steem will help me get my writing mojo back and inspire my creativity that's been dormant for so long.
Thank You!
