The first impression is one of the most important aspects to consider, so I have spent a couple of days thinking about how to present myself in the best way possible, I have been looking at some blogs and trying to learn some things that could help me deliver you a great introduction about my self. I hope I'm to live up to the demands.

This is one of the most famous aphorisms in the history of mankind, written in the temple of Apollo at Delphi and attributed to a large number of ancient philosophers as it is not really known who exactly coined it. Among some philosophers who are credited with it are great philosophers such as Pythagoras, Heraclitus, Socrates, Thales of Miletus and Plato, who most often refer to it as an aphorism and even call it a philosophy of life. "Know thyself" according to my own interpretation this aphorism refers to the different stages of knowledge, i.e. one must first deal with the knowledge about oneself in order to investigate the mysteries of the world. So, following Plato's philosophy, you guys will know me first and everything related to me before you readers find out more about what I will write about in my upcoming content.
Unfortunately, reader, you will not know my name because I have decided to refuge myself in my anonymity (I love anonymity). You will know me under the pseudonym of ThoughtsIN-TIME.
ThoughtsIN-TIME
I'm a 22-year-old philosopher from Spain. Yeah, you read that right, P H I L O S O P H E R. You might be wondering aren't you too young to have graduated from college? I would like to point out to you that you don't need to have an academic degree to be a philosopher or to be what you decide to be (I'm already showing you what you'll find in my blog). Jostein Gaarder said inSofies Welt that all that is needed to be a philosopher is the ability to be surprised by the world, that is, to be curious about knowledge. Etymologically Phileo (love) Sophia (knowledge) of ancient Greek. Philosophy means love of wisdom. So, if you love to know about different subjects not necessarily philosophy, you could consider yourself a philosopher.

My philosophy of life is a syncretism of different thoughts, religions and worldviews, and I like to capture and use all those thoughts of the past to make an analysis of the present and what is coming on in the future. Unlike many philosophers and historians, I do not seek to use the past to legitimize or justify the present as Marx, Luxembourg, and Gramsci did; on the contrary, I seek to understand the past to find solutions to the present by not destroying all the foundations of human civilization that have brought us right here where we are, but rather by improving and providing solutions to the paradigms that plague humanity today. So that's mainly what you'll find in my blog my dear reader a lot about philosophy, knowledge, culture, society, science and education, and, to a lesser degree, politics and economics.
As you may have seen, I like to talk about everything. But don't get confused, I don't like talking about what I don't know, because to do so I would be a Sophist, that is to be the counterpart of what it means to be a philosopher, that is to say a populist of the word, a demagogue who uses rhetoric to convince you - the mass - of what I say is a holy word and must be followed only because I - God - say it.
knowledge is power
I have a critical personality, in the sense of questioning everything, I always ask myself all the WH Questions every time I find something I don't know and until I don't understand it I keep on investigating about it (Yes, I'm a nerd). So consider me an intellectually restless and curious person. I don't consider myself an ideologue because pragmatism is necessary when it comes to solving problems, so I would like to be called more empiricist than idealistic, even so, I have many idealistic thoughts, you will have more time to get to know me.
Regarding my ideology, I am a very libertarian person and here I would like to quote Friedrich Von Schillerlive and let live. The philosophical approach with which I identify the most is undoubtedly classical philosophy, Rationalism, and Moralism. With regard to my political beliefs, I do not believe in the state as the superior entity to regulate the lives of human beings, but I believe it is necessary to carry out some tasks, and I will go into this maybe in a next post. So consider me as a minarchist. In a macroeconomic approach, I would say that I am a neoliberal, I believe in the politics of lessa fair, and, in the free market, I abhor the capitalism of friends, mercantilism or corporatism. In social terms, I am neither conservative nor liberal. In front of the 21st-century paradigms, I have many thoughts that do not align with the masses as I have others that do.
Regarding the authors, celebrities, influencers who have most shaped my worldview and intellectual growth are Socrates and Plato, Thomas Hobbes, Adam Smith, Marx and Hegels, Friederich Nietzsche, Emmanuel Kant, Spinoza and Thomas Aquino, Marcus Garvey, Friederich Von Hayek, John Stuart Mill, John Locke, Max Weber, Keppler, Von Mises, Winston Churchill, Milton Friedman, Hanna Arendt, Ayn Rand, Albert Camus, Kolakowski, Marthin Luther King Jr, Ronald Reagan, JFK, Margaret Thatcher to name a few.
What am I gonna talk about?
Now, first things first, what do I have to offer you, reader? The main purpose of why I created this blog was so that my writings could reach a lot of people and that they could be influenced by the things I say not in a manipulative and pejorative way but rather in the sense that I could convince you by using logic, reason, and facts, in short, with the truth. Now, what will my blog be about? Mainly I will be talking about the current social problems of our society and my possible approaches to them, so I will be talking about culture, social problems, politics, economy and of course, philosophy. To talk about philosophy I would like to use the explanation of authors and I would also like to talk about TV shows and films and the philosophical concepts that are within it.
With nothing more to add, I hope you enjoyed meeting me! I am anxious to see what the future holds for you and me, my dear reader. See you soon, you sincere one:
