First of all I would like to say that my real name is Mark. I was actually named after General Mark Clark, a famous World War General who actually became the youngest four-star general in the Army. About me: I am an Combat Veteran & Army Officer, who also has a Master of Business Administration in Finance. In addition, I've worked as an Energy Risk Analyst for a Fortune 100 Firm and also have experience in Mutual Fund Operations. I really love learning about trading and investments & that is what allowed me to discover Steemit. I was researching about cryptocurrencies on YouTube- when I saw a post about Steem & Steemit. The more I saw about Steemit- the more I wanted to learn!
After leaning the basics of Steemit, I decided to sign up for a Steemit account & haven't looked back since. It has been a little over a month since I started on the site. At first I just did some learning, trying to master the basics of Steemit: Steem, Steem Dollars, and Steem Power. It all seemed very simple, but complicated at the same time. There are so many talented people on Steemit. Many Steemians post about their passions the have in life. Some post about photography, some travel, and others about cryptocurrencies. Whatever one's interest there are groups of people to share your dreams with.
About my name- it is @wealth4good or just wealth4good; the name represents what I seek out of life & why I started on Steemit. Wealth, "for" Good, meaning to have wealth forever. I truly believe in Steem and in Steemit. I plan to achieve my goals by sharing my passions about finance and investing, travel, golf and economic policies. Of course I also seek to gain Wealth- yes. Most people on this platform are posting on Steemit to do the very same thing. But, more important that wealth gained here, is the chance to connect with others and understand their hopes and dreams as well. Below is a diagram that I created as a My Steemit Journey- showing exactly why I want to be successful with Steemit & how I plan on achieving my goals.
When you think about it- it really is a small, small, world. We need to care for one another, and try to make ourselves better and inspire others through actions, to help improve their lives as well, in anyway that I can. Maybe it is just a kind word, that lifts someone's spirit. Or maybe,it is an extra vote that gets someone over the top- to reach the "Trending Page" and really cash in! That would be certainly be wonderful to see.
I have actually been on the site about a month, but I have just made my first post this week on Steemit. I have gained some followers on Steemit, but also followed many great posters here too: @valorforfreedom, @hopehuggs, @cryptoeagle, @taskmaster4450, and many other great posters on the Steemit platform that make daily posts to inform people about how Steemit works and how to be effective on Steemit. I have learned more about cryptos from being on Steemit than I ever did before! It is truly a great platform where people can exchange their ideas and methods to make money, both online and also be successful offline.
As far as other activities other than Steemit (which is very addictive by the way) I really enjoy the game of golf. I have playerd golf since I was in high school, when I started playing when I was a Senior in highschool. Athough I don't get to play as much as I want. I hope that Steemit will eventually lead to more opportunities in the future to buy some new clubs with my Steemit earnings. You should really reward yourself, I believe- to encourage yourself to continue positive actions.
My goal is to reach 150,000 SteemPower & I won't slow down until I have achieved that level. I would like to help others gain the level that they would like to achieve as well. Although we all post individually on our Blogs or DTube sites- this really is a team effort. I would like everyone to join my team- The Wealth4good Team (TWT), where we will all learn, grow, and achieve our dreams for ourselves and our families.
Best of Luck to everyone on Steemit. Hope to connect with many people on here & maybe meet a few Steemians at some meetups or Steem events in the future. Remember, never, ever give up on your dreams. Courage!
